Customize Your Kitchen to Your Own Unique Style

Customizing your kitchen to a truly unique style that is all your own or to update and brighten the room for an enjoyable kitchen experience is what Brighton Cabinetry has been providing for nearly three decades.  This kitchen design from Ruth Bergstrom with Kitchen Associates is a great example of this. Not only is it a custom finish, but the door style is custom as well. The color is a refreshing difference from the typical white kitchens and seems to change from a gray/green to a light blue hue depending on the lighting conditions. The before and after photos show how they took the kitchen from ordinary to refreshing with style and a trending color choice.

Trending Color

Green kitchen cabinets are a strong trending design for 2025. Various shades are being used to create a calming and fresh atmosphere. From sage to mint to soft pastels, this trending color adds natural simplicity, that is a breath of fresh air from the white kitchens we are used to seeing. This trend is expected to continue and can be paired with other various colors, giving your kitchen versatility and a timeless appeal.

Unique to Your Style

Not only did this homeowner choose a custom finish, but they also went with a custom door style. This option can amplify the uniqueness of your home and give distinctive characteristics. Doing so can allow for complete personalization, ensuring the doors perfectly match your desired aesthetic, kitchen layout, and functional needs.

Layout Matters

How you design the layout of your kitchen really makes a difference in the functionality and even the mood. Ruth did a great job, adding more movement, space and added light. By moving the sink over to the wall and removing the bar height peninsula, there is more light coming into the kitchen. Placing a lower, more open peninsula gives you more workspace and the ability to place appliances on the counter. It gives a more open look to the kitchen rather than a closed off area. The Tall Utility cabinets with Roll-Outs allow for more storage, which can help do away with clutter. The Base Microwave Oven cabinet also helps by keeping appliances off the counter or above the stove.  All of this can really change your mood while cooking or even entertaining guests. The layout allows for a good workflow and well-lit but still stylish kitchen.

Choosing a custom door style and finish along with a great layout can give the homeowners a beautiful, unique, and enjoyable kitchen that can last a lifetime.
