A Kitchen for Cooking Enthusiest
For those who love to cook, having a well accessible kitchen with plenty of cabinets and accessories can make the cooking experience more enjoyable. Especially when that kitchen is big enough to entertain your friends and family while still being very stylish. This kitchen was part of a new build, where the client had a general idea as to what they were looking for. Using Brighton cabinets, designer Barbara Allen of Pondside Kitchens & Hearth, was able to design the perfect kitchen for the cooking enthusiast.
Accessibility
Designing a truly accessible kitchen starts with a clear understanding of the needs and preferences of your client. This particular client loves to cook and was looking for a kitchen that could accommodate their culinary needs. Brighton Cabinetry made it easy to give them everything they asked for like wastebaskets, deluxe rollouts, and a sizeable island. This kitchen has not only one but three wastebaskets, one single wastebasket cabinet and one double wastebasket cabinet. This can ensure effortless waste disposal, keeping your area clean and free of food scraps as you cook. They can also be great for having a place for your recycling. Another feature in this design is deluxe rollouts. Perfect for quickly pulling your pots and pans out of storage with the ease of closing the drawers. No need to dig into the back of the cabinet to obtain the items needed. Having a good size island can allow for more counter space and prepping area. The client made a surround for this island that blended beautifully with the gorgeous Hickory cabinets. Barbara Allen’s design skills and abilities to meet her client’s preferences really shines in this beautifully thought-out design.
Spacious Design
A well-designed and spacious kitchen should ensure a pleasant cooking experience and create a stylish environment where one can entertain family and friends. A great amount of space allows room to move and quickly cook up a delicious meal. Along with space, the kitchen has a functional style with durability. Hickory is known for being the most durable and dent-resistant of the common American hardwoods making it a good choice. Another great choice is the can good storage cabinet, which can give plenty of room for all your non-perishable food items and allow quick access to them. Having a bountiful amount of storage will help to keep the counter and island free. Not having to fight for counter space allows more room for food prep. Another feature is the dishwasher panel which can give a seamless design to your cabinetry. The panel can give a uniform look and a visually pleasing appearance. The open floor plan, spacious design, and amount of cabinetry should make this kitchen an enjoyable cooking area for the homeowner.
